AVENUE Q – Broadway musical for adults – Sofia Puppet Theater
“Avenue Q” is an extremely entertaining musical for adults, which presents all the sensitive topics of our time – racism, xenophobia, gay society, porn industry – all subjected to a well-meaning joke that leads us to acknowledge and overcome prejudice and awareness of differences. “Avenue Q” is a cheerful parable about maturation and a sharp satire about the problems of young people brought up as children by their parents and from TV programs like “Sesame Street” and about how they should take personal responsibility for their lives as adults. The confrontation with the reality of a group of losers – brought up in the value system of American democracy – is very relevant in our country, but here you will be able to enjoy an extremely funny interpretation of the “difficult” problems of life.
