Nikolay Arnaudov, who was born in 1951, is one of the most well-known contemporary Bulgarian cartoonists. He graduated from the Teacher’s Institute with Subject Painting and he has been painting cartoons since 1975. He has taken part in many international exhibitions, including in Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, USA, Canada, etc. His works have been published in German newspapers “Stern”, “Morgenpost”, “Berlinerzeitung”, “Eulenspiegel” and in newspapers in England, Slovakia, Chehien, Hungary, USA. He holds national and international awards from Japan, Korea, Slovakia, Chechen, Ethiopia, Ukraine, and Macedonia. Nikolay is married and has two children – a daughter and a son. They are very fond of painting too.
