Biography:
Savelina Kancheva was born in Bourgas, Bulgaria. She graduated from the National School of Music and Stage arts Professor Pancho Vladigerov majoring in piano in Burgas. She has a master degree from the National Music A?ademy Pancho Vladigerov in Sofia majoring piano under Professor Atanas Kurtev. She graduated in piano under Professor Rudolf Kerers Master Class in Weimar, Germany.
Savelina Kancheva has got Ph.D after the thesis: “Piano sonatas of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (kompozitsionnost, interpretation, play)”.
Savelina Kancheva worked as a piano soloist performing in concerts in the Agency and Chamber Music. Her concerts were deeply admired by the audience. She performed Milcho Levievs music at his 70 anniversary in Sofia.
Savelina Kancheva worked as a teacher in a Musical Academy. She also recently taught the piano at the National complex of culture in Sofia. Her work with children is very successful and rewarding.
Savelina Kancheva gave concerts in the United Kingdom, Germany and Bulgaria. She plays mostly classical music after the composers Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, etc.
