Presentation of the book about the pilgrimage of Stefan Stoyanov: “To Santiago de Compostela on all fours”
Please Note: This event will be in Bulgarian only!
Dear friends,
Bulgarian Cultural Institute London is pleased to invite you to the presentation of “To Santiago de Compostela on Four Legs” – a book about the pilgrimage of Stefan Stoyanov on February 24, 2022, from 19:00, at the Gallery “Sofia” of BCI London .
For over ten years Stefan Stoyanov has been working as a stage worker at the Satirical Theater, while at the same time putting up posters and studying acting in the class of Prof. Iliya Dobrev. Subsequently, Stefan began writing scripts for successful television projects such as “Masters of the Air”, “The Perfect Dinner”, “Stubborn with Mark O’Selski”, “Condominium”, “All inclusive” and others. Among the challenges he tackles are his dramatisations of popular fairy tales, staged by director Sabi Sabev in the theatres in Razgrad, Silistra and Gabrovo. His dramatisation of “Tom Sawyer” in the Satirical Theatre “Aleko Konstantinov” was staged by Dimitar Elenov and is among the hits of the theatre for the second season. In the summer of 2016, he quit his job and set off for Santiago with his wife.
Currently, Stefan Stoyanov is part of the script team of the show of Nikolaos Citiridis. At the same time, he presented his one-man show “900km laughter or to Santiago de Compostela on all fours” on the stage of the Tear and Laughter Theatre, according to the book that we will present to you at BCI London.
