Solemn Concert-Performance in honour of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria

Bulgarian Cultural Institute London, in order to support young Bulgarian artists, musicians and masters in the UK, is covering all expenses for the upcoming “Solemn Concert-Performance” on March 1st in honor of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria – March 3rd, which means that the event will be held with FREE ENTRY for all!

The event includes:

5:30 p.m. – The doors of the hall open, when you will all have the opportunity to enjoy The exhibition-bazaar of Bulgarian masters who live and work in London, of the wonderful Bulgarian wine of Ivo Varbanov and of delicious Bulgarian delicacies

19:30h. – UK premiere screening of the film “Professor Andrew Mariner visits Plovdiv, Bulgaria”

Special guest: Prof. Andrew Mariner (UK)

20:00h. – Festive Concert with classical, pop, jazz and folklore music

The concert program includes performances of both classical works by Pancho Vladigerov, Grammy nominated Dobrinka Tabakova, as well as contemporary arrangements of popular Bulgarian hits such as “The World is for Two”, “Falshiv Geroi”, “Oblache le bialo”, “Hubava si moya goro” and many others….

The event will take place at The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).
