We thank “A Spell In Time” and the London Bulgarian Choir that for another year we followed the tradition and before Christmas we will immerse ourselves in the magic of Bulgarian folk tales.

 

THE BEAR’S SON: Ancient Tales of Hidden Bulgaria

A Spell In Time Christmas Special

Wednesday 15 December at 7.30pm

 

Beyond nine green forests, at the edge of winter, lies a world where anything can happen, a world of man-bears, deer-women, and dog-headed people.

Come and celebrate the festive season with fabulous fairy tales from Bulgarian myth and folklore, all spiced with evocative music, shining songs and a traditional welcome to warm the heart and soul.

 

A Spell In Time interweaves storytelling, folklore and music to present wild and wonderful Bulgarian tales for grown-ups that bring joy and blessings at this, the darkest time of year. 

 

Performers are: Moni Sheehan, storyteller, and Ivor Davies, musician. For this performance we are also delighted to welcome special guests from the fantastic London Bulgarian Choir led by Dessislava Stefanova.

 

Performances are in English and are for adults. They are not suitable for children under 10.
