The event program includes:
- Presentation of the book “Moshi, Moshi, Japan” by Yuliyana Antonova-Murata, with the special participation of Yuliyana Antonova-Murata and Vladina Cekova.
- Traditional Japanese music and songs performed by Hibiki Ichikawa and Akari Mochizuki
- Demonstration of a traditional tea ceremony presented by Tankokai Association
The inspiring book “Moshi, Moshi, Japan” contains exceptionally interesting stories about life in the Land of the Rising Sun and amazing experiences and people. In it Yuliyana Antonova-Murata tells short stories from the daily life of the Japanese, how they communicate with each other and how they make their life more beautiful and easier. With emotionally faithful and frugal words, the book leaves the feeling of blooming cherry and beautiful love. In Bulgaria the book was published in seven editions of 14000 copies.
Yuliana Antonova – Murat has graduated the German language high school in Sofia. She has a Master degree in German literature and Psychology from Sofia University. She was a lecturer at the Medical Academy. She is married to a Japanese. Yuliana builds a diplomatic career in Asia.
As a cultural attache in Tokyo a few years ago and as a longtime diplomat with the rank of Minister Plenipotentiary, Yuliyana Antonova-Murata today continues to work towards popularizing the culture of both countries – Bulgaria – as her homeland, and Japan – as the country where she lives with her family.
Vladina Cekova graduated in pedagogy and psychology at Sofia University and worked as a school teacher. From 1983 until 1987 she is one of the elite models of Bulgarian fashion houses “Rila” and “Perun”. In the 90s, she was the advertising director of the “Nevada” super show and a co-producer of the TV competition “Family top show” broadcasted on the Bulgarian National Television. She is an expert of Public Relations in the public administration for six years. Now she is an advertising director of a major production film company, producing one of the most famous sitcoms in the Bulgarian television. She is in love with travels and meetings with spiritually rich people. She walked the pilgrimage route the Camino de Santiago three times. Several times she lived in Indian ashram. She loves Paneurhythmy and the Master Peter Deunov. At the moment she is preparing to walk the Japanese pilgrimage route the Kumano Kodo.
