Happy New Year!

 

 We wish this year to be filled with health, success, inspiration and lots of positive emotions! We hope you’ve enjoyed Christmas break in these trying times.

 We are going to release a new programme, for the beginning of 2021, full of exciting exhibitions, stage plays, concerts and many more. We certainly have prepared an array of collections for you to see in the near future. But before we continue we would like to reflect on the past year. No matter the circumstances and roadblocks, we managed to successfully move all our events online and continue to be with you and give you the opportunity to have great experiences with Bulgarian culture. Unfortunately, some of our plans didn’t go ahead the past year, but on the bright side, we were able to venture out in a new area of online events.

At the Bulgarian Cultural Institute, we are delighted that so many people continue to support us and the artists we represent, by joining in on our live sessions and by visiting the Bulgarian Cultural Institute London when allowed.

 Having in mind that the current situation in the UK might not change in the next couple of months, we are looking forward to improving from last year and give you only the best quality of events right at the tips of your fingers. As the New Year progresses we are coming up with more and more ideas to entertain you while you’re staying at home. 

We are happy to announce our new online project “At home with the Bulgarian Cultural Institute”. The first part of the project is an online series called “Cinema at home with BCI London”, which includes online premieres for Bulgarian films. Every Sunday, at 18 o’clock, you will have the opportunity to enjoy film classics as well as modern Bulgarian films. We are looking forward to the time when we will finally be allowed to go outside and have the ability to host in-person events.
