Online photo exhibition “Transformations of Sofia”

Dear friends, on the 18 of February 2021, through the online photo exhibition “Transformations of Sofia”, we are offering you to look back in time with us.

It will take us back to 1879, when the Ottoman settlement of Sofia was chosen as the capital of today’s Republic of Bulgaria.

In the interview, which was given especially for the Bulgarian Cultural Institute London, the magnificent curator and creator of the site stara-sofia.com, Victor Mihailov, will tell you about the architectural and cultural development of the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia,  during transformations and different periods.

With this short video we want to prepare you for the already planned large exhibition of photos of old and new Sofia at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute London, curated by Viktor Mihailov.
