“The Silent Angel” is a documentary story inspired by the life of 103 year-old Grandfather Dobre, recognized by many as the “The most humble man in the world”.Surviving two world wars, he lived through the shifts of political regimes as well as the passions of modern times. His story comes to touch us all with true humility and shares one man’s enduring faith and the power of God’s infinite love. In the film, we follow Dobre’s life in a series of interviews with people whose fates intertwine with his. One of them plays a big role in the new history of Bulgaria. The film includes unique archive footage, as well as previously unreleased revelations of Grandfather Dobry.
