The exhibition includes paintings, icons, crafts and textile with Bulgarian motives by Katerina Turlakova and artworks of Bulgarian knives during the centuries by Iliya Peshev.
Katerina Turlakova was born in Rousse, Bulgaria on 8th August 1976. Her love for art appeared in her childhood. Spontaneously, like a slowly penetrating passion to paint and create. It was this love and passion led her to the gates of the art school in Sliven, Bulgaria. Her studies included painting, drawing and textiles she has been developing to this day.
Katerina’s life path led her to the bosom of philosophy and psychology, which enriched her world and developed her creative potential.
“Art is my existence. I have very meaning and love in it. I love the contrasts, the collision and the interaction between opposites. Let my art speak for me or get in touch”, says Katerina.
In 2007 she received a master certificate for the production of textile art by Bulgarian Crafts Chamber.
