Winner of 15 international piano competitions, Bulgarian pianist Evgeny Genchev has been described by the German press as “The Lion of the keyboard”. Recognised for his “mature interpretation full of texture, beauty and imagination” he has performed across Europe, Asia, Australia, Russia and North America. Evgeny has played in venues such as Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, Warsaw Philharmonic Hall, Wigmore Hall, Yamaha Centre (New York), NCPA Concert Hall (Beijing) and has taken part in City of London Festival, Sofia Music Weeks and Kissinger Sommer (alongside Cecilia Bartoli and Yefim Bronfman).
