Join us for an exciting evening bringing together traditional Bulgarian music and contemporary world music, in a gala concert celebrating the Bulgarian presidency of the E.U. in 2018. An eclectic array of world-renowned artists will join us for the evening, sharing classic ideas through new perspectives.
The kaval player Teodosii Spasov will showcase his unique blend of Jazz and Bulgarian folk music.
The Grammy Award-winning choir Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices will perform their mystifying arrangement of traditional Bulgarian folk songs.
The piano quartet with Ivan Yanakov, Georgi Cherkin, Angel Zaberski and Zhivko Petrov will put on their distinctive performance of classical music mixed with jazz, as they play simultaenously on four grand pianos.
The London Chamber Players will join us for a set of the world’s favorite classical pieces and the London Bulgarian Choir will continue with more traditional choral song.
