The Bulgarian Cultural Institute London is pleased to invite you to the presentation of the book “The Sboryanovo enigma” by Dragomir Bogomilov.

Sboryanovo Preserve in Bulgaria was a center of mystical rituals performed over 2,000 years ago by one of the Thracian tribes – the Getae. In this land they built over 100 mounds, tombs and sanctuaries in a way that represents a mirror image of certain constellations recreated on the ground. Readers will discover insights explaining the ancient Thracians perspectives on immortality and their beliefs in achieving harmony between the Earth and the Universe. The book presents intriguing facts and curious hypotheses that will provoke readers to build their own theory about what happened more than 20 centuries ago.

Dragomir Bogomilov shares his sense the excitement of new archeological discoveries he has witnessed and closely followed over the past 15 years as part of the distinguished archaeologist Prof. Diana Gergova. He presents some of the most extraordinary treasures and artifacts through maps and his unique photography. The book also pays attention to previously discovered archaeological sites, like the Royal Tomb, which is in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The author has several publications on the topic in reputable media like the National Geographic magazine, and the French “Le Figaro”. He has held twelve photo exhibitions to date, seven of which were presented abroad – USA, Russia, Republic of Bashkiria, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
